As one approaches menopause, weight gain becomes a primary concern. Women, who have had a weight problem before, find it harder to lose the additional weight accompanied by menopause. To begin with, someone should come up with a better term for menopause other than referring to it as the change. Men go through it, yet they are not labeled as such; but thats another topic for another article. If women could write a book of words to describe how they feel during the perimenopausal and menopause stages, it would probably be a best seller.
